Entertainer Jacqueline Fernandez was on Sunday halted at the Mumbai Airport by migration authorities because of a LOC (Look Out Circular). The Enforcement Directorate had opened a LOC against the entertainer in the Sukesh Chandrasekar case. Ms Fernandez needed to go to Dubai for a show. She has been given up after brief addressing and has been educated that she needs to show up before the test office in Delhi.
The ED will give new summons to her for showing up at the Delhi office today.
The test office has recorded a charge sheet in a Delhi court against conman Sukesh Chandrasekar and others in the 200-crore illegal tax avoidance case, claiming that he coerced Rs 200 crore from a finance manager’s better half while he was stopped in Tihar prison.
