RK Jenamani, a senior researcher at National Weather Forecasting Center, said the ground ice was normal in all spaces recording freezing temperatures. “East and west Rajasthan are especially seriously affected. We affect horticulture because of ground ice moreover.”
A virus wave is pronounced when the base temperature is under 10 degrees C in the fields or 4.5 to 6.4 degrees C beneath typical.
